MSR Asgard HP Footprint Specifications
This waterproof MSR Footprint is custom fit to protect your MSR Asgard HP tent from abrasion, punctures, and ground hazards. Made of water-resistant polyester taffeta, MSR footprints protect your tent floor from sharp objects such as rocks and pine needles, as well as from mud and ground water. They also increase the versatility of most MSR tents by acting as a ground cloth in lightweight tarp-style setups.
It's easy to use: just lay it under your tent before staking the tent down. Pull the tent's stake loops through the footprint's webbing loops and stake down the tent to secure. It comes with a lightweight, breathable MicroMesh storage bag.

The hub pole is simple and lightweight, making set up a breeze. The fine mesh allows for great ventilation, further weight shavings, and excellent star gazing on nights without the rain fly. The coatings on both the fly and floor of the tent are very strong and ample for, dare I say, 'excessive' waterproofing. The interior walls are drawn nearly vertical to create a welcoming large space inside, complemented by two roomy vestibules for your gear and nice, bright colors to add a little cheer if you end up caught in your tent during a downpour.
